The chicken farm at Ashirvad Home is up! Thank you to the hard work of everyone who made this project possible- it will make a significant difference in the lives of 79 kids! The chickens are being raised in order to be sold in the market while some remain to keep the project sustainable. The children will now be able to have fresh produce every other day, as a result of the profits from this project. As the project grows, the income generated will also help to purchase computers and pay for a computer teacher for the children. We are so excited for the kids to gain valuable computer skills that will help them in their education and future job search!
